
OAG ORGANIZED TRAINING WORKSHOP ON 2024 Handing Over Notes Guidelines and template for Office of Government Machinery (OGM)
The Office of the Administrator-General (OAG), in its quest to ensure seamless transitions and continuity in governance, successfully organized a comprehensive training workshop on the 2024 Handing-Over Notes (HON) guidelines and templates for the Office of Government Machinery (OGM) at The Civil Service Training Centre. Held on 17th July 2024, this capacity-building initiative aimed to enhance the preparedness and expertise of OGM personnel in compiling accurate, informative, and timely Handing-Over Notes, aligning with international best practices and Ghana’s governance transition requirements. The workshop covered essential topics, including handing over notes guidelines, template preparation, best practices for documentation, and roles/responsibilities of MMDAs, MDAs, RCCs, and Government Agencies.
Officials from MMDAs, MDAs, RCCs and other Government Agencies attended the workshop. The diverse participation facilitated valuable interactions and knowledge sharing.
According to the Head of Civil Service, the handing over notes are crucial for effective governance. The workshop achieved its objective, equipping participants with necessary skills.
